At this moment 3 mobile operators are operating in Georgia. At the II quarter of 2020, number of mobile subscribers were 5.01 ml. subscribers. Compare with II quarter of 2019, number of subscribers decreased by 5% (298 thousand subscribers), while density of mobile subscribers was 135%.

At the II quarter of 2020 number of fixed telephone communications subscribers was 427 thou subscribers. Compare with II quarter of 2019, number of subscribers decreased by 25% (145 thousand subscribers). Density of subscribers of fixed telephone communications in Tbilisi was 64%.

In July of 2020 there were 681 thousand subscribers, which is by 5% (34 thousand subscribers) more than last year’s corresponding period.

From the implementation of mobile number portability service (from 15 February 2011 - to 1 January 2020) 755.5 thousand numbers have been ported in total. In 2011-2019, as a result of portability, most number of subscribers received Magticom – 355 thousand. From the implementation of fixed number portability service (from 1 December 2011 – including 1 January 2020) 10. 849 numbers have been ported in total. Most number of porting have been implemented in Silknet’s network – 2550 numbers.

At the II quarter of 2020, number of fixed broadband service subscribers in Georgia was 970,87 thousand subscribers. Compare with the II quarter of 2019, number of subscribers increased by 6,9% (62,83 thousand subscribers). Density of fixed broadband subscribers was 83%.
